Eva Blum-Dumontet

Eva is a Research Officer at Privacy International and is responsible for our research in surveillance tech and data exploitation, and leads our research on smart cities. She collaborates with international partners on promoting a better awareness of surveillance programmes carried out in countries across Africa, South America, and Asia. She also takes part in the research and investigations aiming at presenting evidence of the export of surveillance technologies. Prior to joining Privacy International she worked as a journalist for the Franco-German TV channel Arte, where she was covering European affairs. She holds a MA in International Journalism from City University (London) and a BA in liberal arts from Sarah Lawrence College (New York).
