As the Monitoring & Evaluation and Learning Officer, Sigma is responsible for the design and delivery of M&E and learning strategy for PI’s strategic programmes. In particular, she focuses on providing M&E support and capacity development to multi-year and multi-partner projects falling under PI’s Global South programme. Her role involves building knowledge and capacity on monitoring and evaluation systems, contributing to the timely preparation of donor reports, and coordinating the monitoring of programmes’ progress against objectives.
Prior to joining PI, she worked as a Project Analyst for the Asian Development Bank, where she was involved in implementing a portfolio of financial sector projects in Bangladesh. Previously, Sigma was a Results Measurement Consultant for the Trade & Competitiveness global practice of the International Finance Corporation, where she provided hands-on M&E support to projects in Bangladesh, India, and Nepal. Sigma completed her M.B.A. from the Institute of Business Administration of Dhaka University, and received her B.A. in Economics from Smith College.
