Our goal is to create sustained and unavoidable conditions for the protection of rights and dignity even as the practice of power changes due to changes in technologies, global politics, markets, and societies. That is why we work with allies all around the world, establish partnerships, and mobilise collectively in a global privacy movement. We work with partner organisations who advocate for privacy from Colombia, Lebanon and Uganda to Pakistan and Italy. Together, we conduct research and run advocacy campaigns concerning harmful practices by governments and companies. We want to build a world where technology will empower and enable us, not exploit our data for profit and power. We work with civil society organisations, human rights activists, academia, journalists, tech experts, affected communities and other relevant stakeholders to seek those safeguards and build stronger futures for everyone.
