Company claims to be automating attendance for Bangladeshi schools
A company called Tipsoi claim to have installed 800 facial recognition devices across schools operated by BRAC - a Bangladeshi International NGO who's Education programme operates thousands of schools across Bangladesh.
The company claim to have initially implemented fingerprint technology - but found it struggled with young children and instead moved on to facial recognition.
The company claim that BRAC plan to expand the deployment to every school in it's network.
