Secondary School implements facial recognition for access control of staff and students

A secondary school in Blagoveshchensk introduced a new security system aimed at improving safety and controlling access to the building. The system allows students and staff to enter the school automatically and is intended to make the entry process faster while providing better oversight of who is on the premises. School officials presented the installation as part of ongoing efforts to modernize school security and protect pupils.

A notable aspect of the project is the use of facial recognition technology at the entrance. According to the report, the system verifies a person's identity by matching their face with stored registration data and grants access when the information corresponds correctly. The school described the technology as a way to enhance security, automate attendance and access management, and ensure that only authorized individuals can enter the building
