Felpham Community College uses facial recognition for school meal payment

Felpham Community College is introducing facial recognition as an optional way for students to pay for school meals through its cashless catering system.

It is aimed at speeding up service during busy lunch periods. 

Participation is voluntary — students without parental consent, or who simply don't want to use it, will keep using their existing catering cards.
